Wayfaring to Santa Barbara

Just a couple hours north of Los Angeles, is the beautiful city of Santa Barbara. We had the pleasure of staying at The Wayfarer Santa Barbara, a boutique style hotel in the up and coming Funk Zone.

Strolling around the Funk Zone, we took in some of the new sites and restaurants that offered eclectic photo inspiration. If you’re feeling lucky, head over to The Lucky Penny for coffee and breakfast. The small Spanish style building covered with 164,456 pennies serves up some delicious cold brew and egg dishes. We also had their pizza for lunch and it’s fantastic.

Back at the hotel, our stay was filled with colorful amenities including a community style game room, rainbow library, giant Jenga, and a heated pool just to name a few. With onsite bike rentals, Urban Wine Trail and Funk Zone maps you’ll never be short of a good time.

The Wayfarer’s welcoming atmosphere has the right mix of work and play with its clean contemporary design and affordable rates. Just a short walk away from some of the hottest new restaurants in town. On our last night, we found ourselves transported into a new oasis of food, drink and ambiance, otherwise known as, The Lark. Bringing the community together one amazing dish at a time. Make sure to order the Crispy Brussels Sprouts.

The Wayfarer is located at 12 E. Montecito Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. For booking or questions, call (805) 845-1000 or visit: www.pacificahotels.com/thewayfarer.
